A Ring Base is a facility established by covert hostile agency, The Ring, to carry out their various illegal activities. There have been three bases revealed to date.
The first is seen in Chuck Versus the American Hero when Shaw handed surrendered to the ring, the second was seen in Chuck Versus the Other Guy, which Sarah, Chuck and Shaw broke into to capture the Ring Director, the third base was seen in Chuck Versus the Subway which Chuck and Stephen Bartowski break into in their effort to stop Shaw.
Chuck Versus the American Hero[]
The outside of this base
The base seen in this episode was located completely underground with the only passage in and out being a deep rapid turbo lift, activated by punching a certain drinks order into a soft drink machine. Shaw was taken to this base for what he thought was a face to face meeting with the Ring director, but it turned out the director was using a hologram and wasn't actually at the base.
It was during this meeting Shaw was told that Agent Sarah Walker had killed Evelyn Shaw. Sarah revealed that the hit was the worst night of her life, that it was part of her CIA Red Test. Shaw had an emotional break and was knocked unconscious, at the same time Chuck arrives at the base. Chuck finds Shaw and drags him out of the base just as the missile strike ordered by Beckman hits the base the base, and destroys it.
Chuck Versus the Other Guy[]

In Chuck Versus the Other Guy, Chuck, Sarah, and Shaw infiltrate the base in an attempt to capture the director of the ring who is based at the facility. Whilst Shaw hacked the director's file, Sarah and Chuck break into the elevator and surprise the director, attempting to force him to leave with them. The Director, reveals that the Ring has developed its own prototype of the Intersect Cipher, and carefully manipulates the situation to create a Mexican standoff between Sarah, Chuck, and two of his operatives.
He then reveals that they have walked into a trap when several additional Ring agents arrive and force Chuck and Sarah to stand down. Shaw arrives and shoots the Director's men, and offers to cover their withdrawal while he retrieves the Cipher. The elevator doors close, leaving Chuck and Sarah outside; they hear a gunshot. However, after they leave the facility it is revealed that the entire incident was staged by the Director and Shaw has turned coat and become a double agent.
Chuck Versus the Subway[]
In Chuck Versus the Subway whilst on the run from Shaw, Chuck and his father, using clues provided by Ellie, find and infiltrate the ring's base in which they had established their version of the Intersect.

Like most ring bases, it is underground. The front door of the base is hidden behind a false wall, but Chuck and Stephen find the way to open it, accidentally triggering a silent alarm. They are intercepted by Shaw and his body guards upon their departure. When Chuck challenges Shaw to a fight of the Intersects, Shaw summarily murders Stephen in order to compromise Chuck's emotions.
Equipment[]
This Ring base is contains two very important pieces of equipment. The Ring's Intersect room where there Intersect, known as the Ring Intersect is maintained, and where Shaw was uploaded with it. This would make this subway base one of the Intersect Bases.
Ring lab
The Ring also maintained a state of the art lab which contains Dr Martin Kowambe's research on illegal organ harvesting and experimentation with genetic manipulation and re-engineering. It was in this lab that the final phases of the restoration of Daniel Shaw took place, virtually bringing Shaw back from the dead.
