Ben Lo Pan is a Triad gangster who operates from the Bamboo Dragon restaurant in Los Angeles. He appears in Chuck Versus the Sizzling Shrimp, in which he kidnaps a diplomat by the name of Lee Cho, brother to China's top spy, Mei-Ling Cho. In a nod to a previous incarnation of a character played by James Hong called Lo Pan, Ben is in a wheelchair.
Whilst in the kitchen of the Bamboo Dragon, Chuck flashes on a waitress' tattoo which identifies her as Mei-Ling Cho, a top Chinese spy. Thinking that Mei-Ling is in American on a mission, Team Bartowski are tasked with finding out what she is up to. They follow her to the Bamboo Dragon and Chuck flashes on Mei-Ling's pistols and assumes she is there to kill Ben Lo Pan. Sarah and Casey go in to catch her while Chuck stays in the car.
While waiting in the van, Chuck sees Lo Pan trying to escape from the club, and goes and helps him to his car. Chuck finally realizes that the little old guy in the wheelchair is a very bad man when he orders his men to put Lee in the trunk of his car.
Eventually, the Team, following Chuck's judicious use of commercial fireworks, capture Lo Pan in the kitchen of the Bamboo Dragon.

- In one of the many homages to nerd culture, James Hong played a character named "Lo-Pan" in John Carpenter's 1986 cult comedy-fantasy-action film Big Trouble in Little China.
